Brighter Minds Media is joining the national Call to Service, and we want you to join us too!

During the months of February and March, in honor of Presidents’ Day and our love and respect for those who serve our community and country, Brighter Minds is hosting a special Library book promotion in conjunction with Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization that sends care packages to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas. These care packages include items such as hygiene products, snack foods, stationery and pens, books, DVDs and personal letters of appreciation.

*Our goal is to raise $10,000 in order to send 1,000 care packages to service men and women!*

• We offer a 50% library discount on our entire collection of children’s books, which includes popular brands such as PBS Kids, Marvel Heroes, Care Bears and the 30-Minute-A-Day series.
• We donate one half of the proceeds of any library purchase through March 16, 2009.
• The donation will be made in the name of the participating library, which receives a special letter of acknowledgement and thanks.
• Each participating library receives a special letter writing kit, which can be used in conjunction with any children’s programming, so that the children can write and decorate letters to the troops. Operation Gratitude is very much in need of more letters of support.
